Youth slang of Russian and Croatian languages: comparative analysis

Abstract

The authors present the most common slangisms, the history of slang formation, slang in various social and thematic groups, Anglicisms and youth speech in the Internet. For the goals of the investigation important is the sociolect, now used by young people on the Internet. The body of the study is the most common  slangisms in Croatian and Russian.
