Abstract

Young scholars from Moscow (Russian State University for the Humanities, Russian State University named after A. N. Kosygin, The State University of Education SUE, HSE University, Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Kaliningrad (Immanuel Kant IKBFU ), and the Republic of Belarus (The Belarusian State University) took part in this year’s conference The first and second sessions featured papers analyzing the poetics of Czech (M. Pujmanová, R. Maly), Polish (B. Schulz), Serbian (D. Kiš, G. Petrovič, J. Dučić), and Croatian (D. Ugrešič, M. Priselac) poets and prose writers. The third session included papers on Russian-Slavic literary connections, their manifestations in literary texts, scholarly research, and creative biographies (based on Belarusian, Serbian, Croatian, and Czech material). The subsections were moderated by specialists in Slavic literatures and staff members of the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Participants and moderators actively engaged in scholarly dialogue, identified problematic issues, and outlined future research prospects. In addition to the speakers who participate in the conference annually, new participants joined the conference this year, demonstrating the relevance of this regularly held scientific event.
