Abstract

The article is dedicated to the teaching activity of the well-known Russian Slavicist Platon Andreevich Kulakovsky (1848-1913) at the Great School at Belgrade (in 1878-1882). New documents discovered by the author in the archives of Russia and Serbia as well as the newspapers of that time permit her to demonstrate the part played by Kulakovsky in strengthening and widening of the traditional Russian-Serbian scholarly, cultural and social ties.
