The author presents an overview of the conference of young scientists held on Decem- ber 10–12, 2019, in Moscow. The Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology named after N.N. Miklukho-Maclay, Russian Academy of Sciences organized this conference. Young researchers from Russian and foreign universities and research institutes dis- cussed a wide range of issues including the topical problems of modern ethnology and anthropology. The main themes of the conference were: development of business anthropology in Russia and the world; the application of Internet research techniques in anthropology; anthropology of historical memory and representation of social and eth- nic groups; transformation of everyday life and traditions of citizens in modern times; the problem of functioning and interaction of different medical systems; childhood and adolescence as important stages in, and the phenomenon of, the evolutionary develop- ment of the human person; research into gender, body, and sexuality issues in Russia and abroad; history and practice of occultism and esotericism; and ethnopolitical and migration processes in Russia and the world.
