Abstract

The article focuses on the history of crea tion of the fi rst album of photographs of Bos-nia and Herzegovina, which was compiled by the Russian photographer and traveler Petr Pyatnitsky in 1867. The material was supplemented by a list of photographs of «Photographic collection of church antiquities and types of Slavs of European Turkey. Herzegovina and Bosnia in 1867» with original captions by Pyatnitsky.
