he Polish "round table": twenty five years later

Abstract

In the article, primary attention is paid to the process of negotiations between the government and the opposition at the so-called «round table», to the final agreements and their significance. The events under scrutiny are reassessed with regard to nowadays reali- ties, from a quarter of a century distance.
