The article studies publications of the Bulgarian Rayko Zhizinfov in the Moscow newspaper "Den" ("The Day"), which were devoted to contemporary events on the Turkish territories inhabited by Bulgarians. These events are considered in the context of the activities of the editor of the newspaper «Den» and the head of Moscow Slavophils Ivan Aksakov.
