Russian dialects in the modern ethno-linguistic and ethno-cultural situation

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of Russian dialects steadiness during the process of social integration. With the help of the materials from the “Lexical atlas of the Russian vernaculars” the author proves that the reasons for this structural steadiness lie in the system of dialectical language itself as well as in the mechanism of its acquisition.
