Abstract

The letter from the rich correspondence of Metropolitan Arsenii (Stadnicki), one of the prominent figures of Russian Orthodox Church Hierarchy of the beginning of the twentieth century is published. The monk from Bessarabia Gurie (future Bessarabian Metropolitan in interwar Romania) tells the teacher about his impressions of his visit to Romania in 1904–1905.
