Abstract

The article is devoted to one of episodes of NATO preparation for the aggression against Yugoslavia which became a reason for conducting bombing strikes in March - June, 1999. Anti-terrorist operation of the Yugoslavian security forces against the Albanian fighters near the village of Rachak was presented to the world by the head of Control mission of OSCE in Kosovo and Metokhiya American William Walker as "massacre" of civilians. The positions of the USA, Russia and the leaders of Yugoslavia on this matter on the eve of aggression of NATO were investigated by the author in this article with the help of numerous documents.
