The Peace of Vienna and its consequences

Abstract

In the article, the circumstances of signing of the Vienna peace treaty are considered. This document became a principle judicial act between the Hungarian estates and the Habsburgs, which guaranteed the preservation of the political institutions serving the basis of the autonomous status of the Kingdom of Hungary and codified religious and political rights of the Protestants.
